Dashain

Dashain is the longest and largest festival in Nepal that is mostly celebrated over a lifespan of 15 days which signifies the win of god over evil. The festival is celebrated with vibrant energy and mostly includes various traditional games and food delicacies.

Holi

Holi is the festival of colours that is widely celebrated throughout Nepal with great enthusiasm. The festival is mostly celebrated on the arrival of spring season with multiple water and powder colours.

Tihar

Known as the festival of lights the Tihar is the same as of Diwali of India. However, the festival is celebrated for a total of five days dedicated towards the victory of good over evil. The five days of celebration include worshipping goddess Laxmi and various animals including a dog, a crow and a cow.

Teej

Teej is the primary festival of Nepal and is mostly celebrated for the power and loyalty of the women. Women dressed in red saris and bangles are devoted towards worshipping the Lord Shiva praying for the prosperity and longevity of their partner.
