Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park
The home to endangered species such as red panda and snow leopard, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park is one of the biggest wildlife sanctuaries of the city that inhabits a wide variety of animals and bird species. Royal Bengal Tiger, Red Panda, Himalayan Deer, Yak, and Himalayan Bear are some of the common animals that can be sighted in this place. Situated at an elevation of 7000 feet, the zoo also serves as the breeding centre for the snow leopard, red panda and Himalayan wolf.
